Selina R. Wellons Home Care LLC is building a dependable employment pool of compassionate homemakers, companions, direct-support professionals, and qualified caregivers who may be contacted as new client assignments become available.

Pay: $15–$18 per hour, depending on the assignment
Schedule: Flexible schedules may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A flexible opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Team members may be contacted when assignments matching their qualifications, experience, availability, and preferred service area become available. Placement in the employment pool does not guarantee immediate placement, a particular assignment, or a specific number of hours.
Non-medical service scope
Selina R. Wellons Home Care LLC provides non-medical homemaker and companion services. Assignments through this employment pool do not include hands-on personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, medication administration, skilled nursing, or other services outside the company’s authorized scope.
Responsibilities +
Depending on the authorized service plan, assignments may include:
- Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
- Offering emotional and social support
- Preparing and serving light meals
- Performing light housekeeping and laundry
- Assisting with errands and grocery shopping
- Accompanying clients to appointments and community activities
- Supporting familiar daily routines and independence
- Offering non-hands-on safety observation
- Providing permitted medication reminders
- Completing required service notes and documentation
- Promptly reporting changes, incidents, or concerns
- Following confidentiality requirements, company policies, and authorized service plans
Minimum Qualifications +
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Homemaker, companion, HHA, caregiving, or direct-support experience preferred
- Ability to satisfy all applicable background-screening requirements
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain it
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance when required
- Professional communication skills
- Dependable, patient, compassionate, and respectful
- Ability to protect client privacy and confidentiality
- Willingness to complete required orientation and training
